Dear Starbucks,

I fucking hate your coffee. I have (somewhat) successfully avoided visiting your establishment for the last six months (with the exception of last weekend with my mother, but i hated it). I think you have the worst coffee ever, and i find it very frustrating that this business has flourished the last eight years. To begin with, the taste. The actual beans are a total joke. Since 2000 Starbucks has claimed to purchase fair trade beans, but this is only 4% true. The entire 96% of the beans they use for espresso and coffee are bought from countries with vast lands with people living in poverty. After being packaged, each bag has an life expectancy sitting on a shelf for at least six months. Ew.
Also, the Ethos waters sold with the understanding of contributing to countries with no clean water. However, Starbucks only gives 5 cents of the $1.80 total cost. Starbucks is a bull shit company, promoting for world improvement, and yet gives less then 1%. As i come to my final point, i think its in particularly lame that Starbucks thrive in cities by buying out any coffee related company. Example, all of southern orange county. Starbucks out bought all the Diedtricks along the coast: San Juan, Mission, and the drive threw in Dana. And now there all just another Starbucks, all of wish have a Starbucks less the 100 feet away.
thats fucked up.

I can think of a thousand other
places to go. You suck
at making coffee,
Love,
Pearl.

EDIT SIX+ MONTHS LATER:
P.S.
If you choose to drink starbucks I will in no way, eva, eva, eva think less of you.
